Buying Power

What is a GPO?

A Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) is an organization that offers supplier discounts to a group of businesses and/or individuals based on the overall buying power of the group as a whole. There are two distinct types of GPOs, vertical and horizontal. A Vertical Market GPO is focused on one industry, such as healthcare, food service, automotive, etc.  A  Horizontal Market GPO works with companies across a wide array of industries.

Buying Power, Inc is a horizontal GPO, offering our discounts to many different member companies in varying categories. We partner with suppliers that make sense in multiple industries, such as office supplies, phone service, merchant services, and freight shipping. We are a GPO that is here to help you save money with your purchases, no strings attached! Your membership is completely free and there is no contract.

We work with our suppliers to negotiate discounts for your company and/or employees by leveraging the buying power of our 15,000 member companies. This saves you and your procurement team both time and money. We also protect your privacy and do not share your information with any third party marketing groups.

Once you complete the short online enrollment form, you simply pick and choose the discounts that you will use, and begin purchasing directly with the supplier. It is that simple. We are not a ‘middle man’ in the process.  Our team of experts is here to help you with any questions, and to be your advocate with any supplier issues.

Become a part of our member community, and JOIN TODAY!  It isn’t about the power we can gain, but the power we can give you.
